Initial Consultation – This is a FREE 45-60 minute meeting where I can answer any questions and hear from YOU about your hopes and dreams for this birth experience.

 

Prenatal Visit(s) – Once you’ve asked me to be your Doula, we will meet for 1-2 prenatal visits to get to know one another, discuss your birth preferences, comfort measures, birth plan, answer questions, and provide resources as needed. I’m available by email, text, or phone to answer any questions you may have.

 

Labor & Birth – Once labor has started, I am available whenever you feel you need me. I will meet you at your home or at the hospital or birth center and will stay with you continuously throughout labor and the birth. During labor, I will offer comfort measures discussed in our prenatal visits including massage, position changes, counter pressure, etc. As a Doula, I do not take the place of your birth partner. Instead I use my training and experience to determine how to best assist YOU in any way I can, to bring about the best birth experience possible. After birth, I will stay with you until you and baby are settled and comfortable.

 

Postpartum Visit – I will visit you at your home 1-2 weeks after birth to check on how you are doing, to discuss the birth, to answer questions, and to provide you with any resources you might need.
